Omer Cossey

OMER R. COSSEY, 85 of Sherwood, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010 at Baptist Springhill Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was born on Nov. 6, 1924 in Cabot, Ark.; he was the son of William Cossey and Lotie Yarber Cossey. Omer was a retired electrician, and a United States Army Veteran of WWII, he was also a faithful member of Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Survivors include his wife Estella Cossey of Sherwood; a son Lloyd Cossey of Sherwood; a daughter Yvonne Menasco of Houston, Texas; three brothers; three sisters; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral service time at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 both at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood.
