Geneva Millwood Parker, born May 18, 1939, passed away early Saturday morning, September 4, 2010, very peacefully due to an aneurysm. She is survived by her two daughters, Ruby (Lloyd) Busch of Washington, LaRonda (Jack) Cheney of Cabot, one son, Mike (Tamara) Millwood of Cabot, four brothers, O'Dell Hester, Wayne Crenshaw, Martin, and Marvin McClain, two sister, Dixie McClain and Pam Johnson, three sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Bill) Elmore, Pauline Parker, and Marilyn Parker, two brothers-in-law, Bill Luker and Robert Parker, four step-children, Charles, Lee, Barbara, and Beverly (Parker), and Michelle Monical. She had many wonderful grandkids and great-grandkids. Geneva lived her life to the fullest. When she wanted something, there was no stopping her, and the words "no" or "cannot" were not something you would hear her say. Greeting you with open arms was the only way she knew. She had so many hobbies, ceramics, sewing, embroidery, bowling, woodwork, cross stitching, and quilting. She loved to fish, travel and spend lots of time with family, friends and her three dogs Gage, Joey and Bear. She was a great mother, sister, aunt, nanny and a great friend. Her heart was full of love for all and she touched the lives of so many. She also enjoyed spending time at the Senior Citizen Centers in Jacksonville and Cabot. She was a member to the Eastern Star since 1994. She served as a member of Jacksonville #52 as Worthy Matron and was Grand Representative to California in 2001 and 2002. She was a Deputy Grand Lecturer District #19. She also served on the board for the Council on Aging. The memorial service will be held Thursday, September 9, at 10 a.m. at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke. The family will be at the home of Geneva Parker.
