Anna Laura Evans

Anna Laura Evans, age 87, of Benton, Arkansas died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Arkansas Health Center in Benton. She was born on July 23, 1923 in England, Arkansas to her parents Lloyd L. and Charlotte Miller Venable. Anna was retired from Teletype Corporation and was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Alexander. She is survived by her son, Doug Evans (Nancy) of Benton, Ark.; sister, Mildred Manis of DeWitt, Ark.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and twp great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Evans, son Dan L. Evans, her parents, grandson, Trey Wells, five brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Brother Mark Ray officiating.
