Michael P. Barnett

Michael P. Barnett, born June 14, 1948 in Ypsilanti, Mich., to the late Taft and Lucille (Pechota) Barnett, Mike passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home in Little Rock, Ark. on September 5, 2010. Loving husband of Vicki (Vinson). Devoted father of Tytti (Greg) Newton, Connie Combs and Michael. Dear brother of Avalee (Robert) Arndt, Francis (James) Petre, Judith (Fred) Stafford, Gerald (Ruth) Barnett and Timothy (Janet) Barnett. Beloved grandfather of Kelly, Tad, Abby, Faith and Taylor. Mike graduated from Belleville High School (Belleville, Mich.) in 1966. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps earning a bronze star in the Vietnam War. Mike was Executive Vice President, Distribution at United Engines headquartered in Oklahoma City. An avid sportsman, Mike loved shooting, hunting, fishing, golfing and dirt bike riding with his friends and family.
