Helen L. Foster White

Helen L. Foster White passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Life touch Hospice in El Dorado, Arkansas following a brief illness. Born January 21, 1922, Havana, Arkansas she was the daughter of the late Martin B. Foster Sr. and Reola Q. Foster. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose love reflected in her devotion to her family and friends. She was of the Methodist faith. Preceding her in death, along with her parents, was her husband, Dr. James Harold White, her sisters Zelta Sturdy, Faye Tygart, and Ada Turner, and her brothers Hoyt Foster and Oresta Foster. Also, two great-grandchildren, Phillip Andrew Williams and Alisan Marie Williams and son-in-law, Barry F. Hauser. Survivors include daughters, Karen R. Williams and her husband James Bennie Williams of El Dorado, Arkansas, Kaye Davidson and her husband Charles "Chip" Davidson of Booneville, Arkansas, and Kimberlea Hauser Dunkle and her husband Steve Dunkle of Valrico, Florida; her brother Martin B. Foster, Jr. of Havana, Arkansas and four grandchildren, Jim Williams and Phil Williams of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Scott Jordan and Stacy Lovell of Little Rock, ,Arkansas. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren, Memree Hightower, Christopher Williams, Sawyer Williams, Payne Williams, Kendrick Lovell, Caleb Lovell and a great-great-grandson, Cade Hightower. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Havana Cemetery, Havana, Arkansas under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends and family at Havana Methodist Church at 12 noon before the service.
