Doris Ann Alred High, age 77, of Mayflower died Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born April 18th, 1933 in Cabot, Ark. to Gladys and Sam Fowler. However, she was fondly raised in Little Rock by her mother and step-father, Jim Davidson. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert G. High of Mayflower; son Charles Alred Jr. of Mabelvale and his wife Earlana; Mike Alred of Greenbrier and his wife Brenda; Glen High of Bryant and his wife Ronnette; Frank High of Benton and his wife Mary. She is also survived 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by both her parents and her first husband Charles Alred, Sr. Visitation is Sunday afternoon from 2–4 p.m. at Griffin-Leggett-Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th in Little Rock, Ark.
