DR. MARGARET A. WEST, 42, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Aug. 31st, 2010, in North Little Rock, Ark., and was put to rest in Wynne, Ark., on Sept. 4th, 2010. Survivors are her husband, Benoit Marcille of North Little Rock; parents, Ronald W. Slocum and Sybil Annabeth Shaw Slocum of Wynne; brother, Brennan Slocum; and sister, Sharol Saylor; grandmother, Sybil Shaw; and nephew, Tommy Saylor. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made in Margaret's name to FURR, an organization that dedicates itself to the rescue and adoption of abandoned cats. The address is FURR, P.O. Box 250567, Little Rock, Ark. 72225. Margaret was passionate about cats and was involved with their rescue and adoption.
