Mark Patrick Smith, 75, of Batesville, died Friday, September 17, 2010 in N. Little Rock. He was born December 4, 1934 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin and was the son of James and Irene Smith. Mark was the Director of Food Service at the Lyon College in Batesville for 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church serving as a 4th degree Knights of Columbus and a past Faithful Navigator. He is survived by his wife, Kitty (Moore) Smith; five children; three step-sons; two step-daughters; eighteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic with Father Emiliano Zapata, O.P. officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Roller Crouch funeral home. Rosary will be Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
