Ronald Harlow Bullerwell

Ronald Harlow Bullerwell, 64, a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather departed this life September 20, 2010. Ron was born March 15, 1946 in Somerville, Mass. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Bullerwell; his brother, Howard Bullerwell Jr.; and his stepson, Chad Marsh. Ron is survived by his mother, Charlotte Bullerwell of Lynn, Mass.; wife, Sheila Bullerwell of North Little Rock; son, Michael Bullerwell (Whitnee) of Maumelle; daughter, Tammy Roberts (Chris) of Conway; stepdaughter, Ashlie Marsh Anderson (Charlie) of North Little Rock; brother, Alan Bullerwell (Jean) of Hampstead, N.H.; sisters Skippy Deveau (Don) of Lynn, Mass. and Sharon Brandt (Roland) of Valparaiso, Ind. Ron is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Nikki and Brandon Roberts, Cameron Marsh and Gracie Mae Anderson. After graduating high school in 1964, Ron served four years in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. Later, he entered the law enforcement field serving in both New Hampshire and in Arkansas. Ron proudly served on the Little Rock Police Department for 30 years. An avid outdoorsman, Ron enjoyed his time spent hunting and fishing. His hunting and fishing buddies were very "near and dear to his heart." Having been retired for the past 10 years, Ron and Sheila travelled the country with their circuit of RV friends. A celebration of Ron's life will be held Friday, September, 24, 2010 at Griffin & Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m., located at 5800 W. 12th Street, with Rev. Charles Chamblee officiating. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
