Marjorie Johnson Buckley-Hucke

Marjorie Johnson Buckley-Hucke was born April 13, 1930 in Fayetteville, to Pat and Anna Barnes Johnson. She graduated from Fayetteville High School and the University of Arkansas with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, Gamma Sigma Delta, and Honor Society of Agriculture. She was a Home Economist, but most of all a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, where she had served as an administrative Board Steward and was a member of the Asbury Sunday School class. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and chapter K, P.E.O. She was married to Dr. Samuel T. Hucke Jr., who predeceased her. Survivors include three sons: Dr. David A. Buckley of Fayetteville, Dr. Steven Lance Buckley of Huntsville, Ala., and Dr. Carie D Buckley III of Staunton, Va.; sister, Patricia Ann Dumas of Albuquerque; two stepchildren: Dr. Samuel T. Hucke III of Kansas City and Dr. Heyden M. Hucke of St. Louis; nephew, Dr. H. Scott Dumas of Cincinnati, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends on Monday, September 27th from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the sanctuary at Central United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, September 27th at Central United Methodist Church with Reverend Gary Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, P.O.
