Garry James Moore

Garry James Moore, 59, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, September 24th at his home after a prolonged illness. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Moore Dixon, his mother Luelyn Moore and father Neeley Moore. He is survived by his twin brother Larry Moore of Sherwood; brothers, Phillip Moore of North Little Rock; Mark Moore of Hot Springs; sister, Kathleen Meyer and her husband Richard Meyer of Sherwood, and nephew, Aaron Mills of Little Rock. Gary was a well-known local musician and played bass guitar for 45 years. Music was the love of his life. He recorded several music CD's and was a member of The Arkansas Blues Society. He was of the Christian faith. He will be missed by many friends and family. Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 29th at 2 p.m. at The Beebe Cemetery. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136. A celebration of Gary's life will be held Sunday, October 3rd at the home of his brother Larry.
