Louis A. Giosa, age 89 passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010. He was born November 14, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to Ralph and Josephine Giosa. He was a retired photo engraver and spent the last 27 years as a tax preparer in Heber Springs. He enjoyed oil painting, golf, bowling, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He was a member of St. Albert Catholic Church, an was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Francis V. Giosa, of Heber Springs, Ark., one daughter, Jeanette Bell and husband Steve of Huntley, Illinois, three grandchildren, Craig Pepoon and wife Nicole of Mary Esther, Florida, Jenice Pepoon of Chicago, Illinois, Matthew Bell and wife Diana of Carol Stream, Illinois, two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Lillian Bell of Carol Stream, Illinois, two sisters, Mary Rose of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Phyllis Dienes of Redlands, California, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Dolores. A Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday September 29, 2010 at St. Albert Catholic Church. A Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday, September 30, 2010 at St. Albert Catholic Church, with a viewing at 10:30 prior to service.
