Earline A. Bruce

Earline A. Bruce, 97, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, April 5th, 2011. She was born December 4th, 1913 in Gamaliel, Arkansas to Oliver and Eva Davis Smith. Earline loved her family and friends dearly, and enjoyed cooking for them often. She was a member of the Levy Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Remmel Bruce; two brothers, Gordon and Billie Smith; and one sister, Maxie Kent. Cherishing her memory are her son, Dale Bruce of Sherwood; two daughters, Carolyn Finch of Beebe, and Linda Walker of Cabot; three brothers, Fred (TInk) Smith of East Wentachee, Washington, Clyde Smith of Batesville, and Robert Smith of Melbourne; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and other relatives. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, April 7th, 2011 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515.
