Ercille Stanley

Ercille Stanley, age 89, of Crossett, Ark. passed away on April 5, 2011 at Ashley County Medical Center. She was born on June 24, 1921 to her parents, Eugenia and Julia Lannie Smith Rice. Mrs. Stanley was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother, and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She preceded in death by her husband, George Murrell Stanley, an infant daughter and her son, Norman Lamar Stanley. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ruth Burgess (Sam) of Crossett, Ark. and Genia Kay Manning (J.C.) of Hamburg, Ark.; her grandchildren, Holli Davis, Russell Reynolds, Cindy McKinnon, Stephen Stanley, Dana Stanley, Seth Stanley, Jason Manning, Terry Barnes and Paul Manning; 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2011 at Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Jason Bates officiating under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com) Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at First Freewill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church, 1301 Mimosa, Crossett, Ark. 71635. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
