Marie Elaine Barrows

Marie Elaine Fitch Barrows, 91, of Sherwood, passed April 1, 2011 at Springhill Baptist Health Medical Center surrounded by her children and family. She loved being a Mother and painting, cooking, gardening and traveling. She was thankful for the friendship and care given her by Shuretta Woodyard this past year. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl Barrows. She is survived by her 10 children; Nina Eldridge, Anne Altice, Paul Barrows, Eleanor Roper, Susan Schnell, Nancy Ballard, Joseph Barrows, David Barrows, Pat Barrows, Babette Barrows; her sister Barbara Fitch; her in-laws Mary and Joe Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
