Peggy Havens Soules, 50, of Cabot went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. She was born Jan. 19, 1961 in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Charles Eugene Havens and her precious son, Christian Gene Shireman. She attended ASU Beebe and was a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society. She went on to receive her nursing degree from Baptist School of Nursing, graduating with honors. Peggy was employed as an RN by Arkansas Hospice, where she cared for countless terminal patients, helping them to pass from this world in comfort and with dignity. Peggy was a very loving and humble person with a kind, generous, giving heart. She contributed both time and money to many worthy charities. But most importantly, she did so many of the small but important things for numerous family, friends and strangers that meant so much. Her smile, her laughs and her hugs were more than enough to lift anyone's heart. She is survived by her husband Steve Soules of Cabot; her children, Rachel Shireman and Adam Soules, both of Cabot; two sisters, Shirley Chapman of Scott and Kathy Beadle of Cabot; one brother, Michael Douglas Havens of Charleston, S.C.; three grandchildren, Hailey, Dean and Aisling; a host of nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Reverend Odis Chapman officiating. A family committal service will follow. Visitation will be 6–8 Monday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816. Memorials may be made to the charity of the givers choice. Please sign the online guestbook at www.moorescabotfuneralhome.com.
