Robert Lee "Bob" Davis

Robert Lee "Bob" Davis, 74, of Searcy, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the White County Medical Center. He was born Sept. 14, 1936 in Ft. Worth, Texas a son of the late Uzell and Bertha Kilpatrick Davis. Bob was a retired welder/fabricator, a Protestant and had served his country in the U.S. Air Force and 26 years in the Texas Army National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Lou Davis of Searcy; son, Robert James Lee Davis of Burleson, Texas; daughter, Vicki Culp of Texas; sister, Lou Petosky of Terrell, Texas; two step-children, Jim Marsh of Searcy and Teri Adams of Bradford; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday form 6-8 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Interment services, with military honors, will be held at 1 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
