Annie Jewel Brown

Annie Jewel (Anderson) Brown, age 78, of Alexander passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at her home. She was born on March 22, 1933 in Rover, AR to the late Charlie and Jessie (Cathey) Anderson. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Hurricane Lake Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, her husband, Charles Brown, also preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Tom Brown and wife, Sally of Benton and Pete Brown of Alexander; one brother, Charles Anderson and wife, Hazel of Rover, Ark., and two grandchildren, Paul Brown and Jessica Brown. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2011 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047). Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday evening, April 15th at the funeral home.
