Caryn Elizabeth Pierce, of Springdale, Arkansas died April 14, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born October 7, 1967 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1986 and the University of Arkansas in 1991. She was an elementary music teacher for Springdale Schools from 1992-2010 at George, Bayyari, and Walker. She was married to Bradley Pierce August 14, 1993. She will always be remembered for her love of the color pink, but most of all for her love of life. She was a believer in Christ, which brought her great comfort and strength during her fight. She was a loving mother and wife, a fun and compassionate teacher, a caring friend and sister, and a beautiful daughter. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking care of her dog and pet rats, reading, movies, chocolate, shopping, painting, music, having fun, and making people smile no matter what she did. She was passionate about working with her students and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pete and Mildred Austin and her paternal grandfather, Clyde Hobson. Survivors include her husband, Bradley Pierce and two children, Austin and Sydney of the home; her mother, Judy Hobson, of Springdale; her father, Danny Hobson, his wife, Jane, of Bella Vista, one sister, Alice Hobson and son, Jack Baird, of Springdale; one brother, Danny Hobson II, his wife, Aimee and sons, Caleb, Ty, and Blake of Rogers, paternal grandmother, Lois Hobson, of Springdale and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Visitation will be in the Training Center at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, Arkansas from 5 until 7 p.m. Funeral service will be at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, Arkansas at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas. Memorials may be sent to: Caryn Pierce Memorial Scholarship Fund at Arvest Bank Flowers may be sent to Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, Arkansas Online condolences can be made to the family at: www.eptingfuneralhome.webs.com.
