Funeral services for Henry Titus Smith age 76 of Los Angeles, California, formerly of Malvern, Arkansas who died Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Los Angeles, California will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at Bryant Temple AME Church in Los Angeles, California with Harrison and Ross Funeral Home providing services. Henry Titus Smith was born November 6, 1934 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Rev. Hartsell and Louise Gloster Smith. He was a graduate of AA Wilson High School in Malvern, Ark. and was a 1957 graduate of AM&N College Pine Bluff, Arkansas where he pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and relocated in the Los Angeles, California after service. He worked for the LA Sheriff's Department before his retirement. His survivors are his wife Billy Ruth Byrd Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Son Titus Fitzgerald Smith, SR (Monique) of Los Angeles, California two grandsons Titus Fitzgerald Smith Jr. and Mason Smith both of Los Angeles, California; three sisters Lucille Cameron of Chicago, Illinois; Latora Morgan of Lancaster, California, and Lillian Beard (Herbert) of Malvern, Arkansas Mother in law Mavis Posey of Little Rock, Arkansas Brandon's Mortuary, Inc. Malvern, Ark. providing local assistance.
