William Edwin Glenn

William Edwin Glenn, 83, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Born in Benton to John and Esther Grasty Glenn, he was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Glenn; son, John David Glenn and wife, Karen of Benton; daughters, Susan Williamson of Lubbock, Texas and Mary Lawhon and husband, Hugh of Benton; grandchildren, Chloe Fratesi (Benny) of Pine Bluff, Billy Glenn and Jimmy Glenn, both of Benton; and niece, Sharon Harris (Mike) of Benton. Services will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 11 a.m. at Parkview United Methodist Church, 514 N. Border St., Benton, officiated by Rev. John Alston and Rev. Burl Crabtree. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the Christian Community Care Clinic, 220 W.
