Beverly June Barlow

Beverly June Barlow, age 67, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was born on September 28, 1943, at Hot Springs, the daughter of Wayne Nathaniel McAfee and Alma Jean Hobgood McAfee. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was the owner of Pro-Copy and Mail in Hot Springs for 23 years. We thank God for the gift of Mom's life. She is survived by one son, James Scott Rains of Hot Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shon and Charlie Knabe of Pearcy, and Teri and Jeff Grisham of Hot Springs; one daughter-in-law, Julie Anne Dollente of San Ramone, California; five grandchildren, Wesley Duren, Garrett Grisham, Payne Spence, Katie Grisham, all of Hot Springs, and Jolie Rains of San Ramone, California; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Buddy and Inge McAfee of Austin, Texas, Danny McAfee, Don McAfee of Hot Springs, and Ricky and Francis McAfee of Hope; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma and Ed Shipper of Little Rock, Barbara and Ron Williams of Frisco, Texas, Carolyn and Jim Spradley of Little Rock; special friends, Jim Osborne and Darrell Jones; her special Lhasa Apso, Max; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m., Friday, at Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Jim Spradley officiating. Guest registry will be at www.davis-smith.com.
