Clara Naomi Baxter

Clara Naomi Raddle Baxter, age 92, of Pine Bluff passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011. She was born September 20, 1918 at the Davis Hospital in Pine Bluff. She was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Effie Jewel Raddle, and the wife of the late Earl Cecil Baxter. She was a member of Whiteville Missionary Baptist Church and a life-long resident of Jefferson County. She attended Watson Chapel School, was a musician and loved to sing. Survivors include her son, Melvin C. Baxter (Lois) of Pine Bluff ; her daughter, Janice Lynette Greer (Ronnie) of El Dorado; grandchildren, Rhonda Ragar of Pine Bluff, Paula Jenkins of Bryant, Brian Baxter of Pine Bluff, Cheryl Janau of Jefferson, La., and Jennifer George of Ruston, La.; and 12 great-grandchildren. Service will be Friday at 12 noon at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Bro. Neil Quick officiating. Burial will be at Fitzhugh Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service at 11 a.m. Pallbearers will be Donnie Phillips, Mark Raddle, Tommy Raddle, David Raddle, Brian Baxter, Devon Langley and Robby Ragar.
