Ruby Ruth Wortman White

Ruby Ruth Wortman White, 76, of North Little Rock died Tuesday, April 19, 2011. She was born May 12, 1934 in Tomberlin, Arkansas to the late Leroy and Belle (Hough) Wortman. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James L. White; three daughters, Gail Prather, Lynn Wilson, and Donna Highland (Randy); five grandchildren, David Prather (Jessica), Kerry Wood, Shannon Prather, Shawna Iverson, Barry Highland (Jana); eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Moring (Harlan); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
