Charles Tyler

On July 30, 2011, Charles Tyler of Little Rock entered into eternal rest after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Wesley and Henrietta Douglas Tyler born March 28, 1932 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Charles was devoted husband, father, and grandfather; member of Marks Chapel UMC; and retired as a masonry contractor. Charles will be remembered and cherished by a devoted wife, Emma Thomas Tyler; loving children, Larry (Barbara) Tyler of Searcy, Ark., Sherry (Leotis) Tyler Ratcliff of Frisco, Texas, Michelle (Leon) Tyler Smith of Little Rock, Ark., and Charles Tyler II of Little Rock, Ark.; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 4, 2011, 11 a.m. Family visitation will be Wednesday, August 3, 2011, 6-7 p.m., both services will be at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 S.
