Elbert Dee Shadle

Elbert Dee Shadle, 71, of Hazen was born July 14, 1940 in Yuma, Arizona to Abner Dee Shadle and Lillie Belle (Earhart) Shadle and died July 30, 2011. Elbert was the youngest of four boys. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Russell and Irving Shadle and grandson, Brian Hughes. Elbert is survived by his wife, Patricia Parr Shadle whom he married June 30, 1965 in Benton, Kentucky; brother, Hershell Shadle of Yuma, Arizona; three children, Lori Belle Shadle Blazek and Wylon Dee Shadle, both of Hazen and Lynda Haitsma of Colorado; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Blazek, Caleb Swiney, Cory, Cole, Kyle, Ashley, and Nicholas Haitsma and Larry Beachler. Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Peppers Lake Church of Christ in De Valls Bluff. Elbert will be missed by a host of family, friends, in-laws, and outlaws alike. Farewell and God's speed.
