Jim "Big Daddy" Stanton

Jim "Big Daddy" Stanton, of Huffman, Texas passed from this life on July 30, 2011 in Humble, Texas. He was born James Charles Stanton on December 31, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to R.C. and Joyce (Reynolds) Stanton. A loving husband, father, and friend, he was also dedicated customer service agent for Continental Airlines for more than 38 years. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Gwen Stanton of the home, his children; Devin Stanton and wife Stacy, Gina Brown and husband Jason, Annemarie Hebert and husband Darrell, and Cody Domino. Grandchildren; Blake Walls, Logan Stanton, Sydney Stanton, Maddie Brown, Lauren Hebert, Morgan Brown, and Emily Brown. A sister; Rita Garner, and a brother Dale Stanton. One nephew, Michael Garner and one niece. Michelle Atchley. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will host friends for viewing and visitation on Tuesday evening, August 2, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2011 also at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter with interment to following services at Rosewood Memorial Park North.
