Rose Ellen Kelly Hagy, 98, of Hot Springs passed away August 2, 2011. She was born October 6, 1912 in Chatsworth, Georgia to Judge Sam Hill and Sara Ada Kelly. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 51 years, George A. Hagy, daughter, Sigma Fletcher, sons-in-law; Neale Fletcher and Samuel L. Davis, sisters; Sarah Kelly Dillard and Margaret Kelly; and brother, Sam Kelly. Mrs. Hagy was a charter member of Whitfield Garden Club and member of the Entre Nous Club. She was a member of Hagy Missionary Circle at First United Methodist Church where she was an active member since 1948. She was an active member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary for many years. Mrs. Hagy organized the state chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and served as state president. She was a charter member of the Hot Springs Country Club and president of the Ladies Golf Association, of which she won several championships. She was a sponsor and board member of the Hot Springs Debutante Coterie from 1958 to 2006. Loving survivors include her daughter, Sara Vroman Davis, of Little Rock, granddaughter, Kelly Morgan and husband, Clay, of Las Vegas, Nevada; granddaughter, Ellen Bass and husband, Tim, of Marietta, Georgia; grandson, Scott Fletcher of Washington, D.C.; great-grandsons, Christopher Driese, Mathew Fletcher and Andrew Fletcher; and brother, Ralph Kelly, of Columbus, Georgia. A memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bud Reeves officiating.
