John Wesley Kellum Jr.

John Wesley Kellum Jr. son of the late John W. Kellum and Rosa Etta Martin Kellum was born on October 10, 1929 in Portageville, Missouri and departed this life on August 15, 2011 at the age of 81 years. John married Glenda Sue Smith on September 9, 1961 in Gideon, Missouri. He is survived by: his wife: Glenda Sue Kellum of White Hall, Arkansas; one son: Danny Kellum and wife Dr. Arlene Kellum; two daughters: Carolyn Colson and husband Thomas, Rhonda Holloway and husband Dr. Brad Holloway; four grandchildren: Amy Nicole Shipman, Creighton Lloyd Kellum, Campbell Wesley Kellum, Jacob Bradford Holloway. Other relatives and many friends. John was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. He was of White Hall, Arkansas and was a Church of Christ minister. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Visitation will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2011 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Mr. Spencer Furby officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.
