Patty H. Rollins

Services will be conducted at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke, Ark. for Mrs. Patty H. Rollins, 73, of Vivian, La. on Friday, August 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Martineau. Interment will follow in Hester Cemetery, Lonoke, Ark. Visitation will be at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home in Shreveport, La. on Wednesday, August 24th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Ark. on Thursday, August 25th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mrs. Rollins entered into rest on Sunday, August 21st at her home in Vivian, La. She was a native of Lonoke, Ark. but had made the Shreveport/Vivian area her home for more than 50 years. Mrs. Rollins enjoyed fishing, gardening, card games with family and friends, cooking for those she loved, and family reunions. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John W. Rollins; parents, R.L. and Elizabeth "Bet" Hester; and her brother, Robert Dean Hester. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Chris Rollins; daughters, Donna Butler and Tammy Lloyd; grandchildren, Lauren Rollins, Lyndsey Rhoads and husband, Andrew, and great-granddaughter, Mallory Rhoads, Robert Rollins, Warren and Whitney Butler, Christina Smith and husband, Jeff, Dillon Ray and great-grandsons, Kaleb Roberts and Braedan Smith; sister, Bobbie Ann Hester Standridge; and her pet companion, LuLu.
