Carl Dean Sheets

Carl Dean Sheets, 70, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Thursday, August 25, 2011. He was born February 3, 1941 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Herman and Laura (Allen) Sheets. He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed as a Truck Driver. Carl is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 32 years, Jean Sheets; daughters Virgie Jennings and Tresa Downie; and sister Parthenia Woolard. He is survived by his wife Kanokwan Sheets of Hot Springs; sons Carl Eugene Sheets (Loretta) of Sardis, Jody Catlett (Monique) of Hot Springs; Jerome Catlett (Tania) of Hot Springs, Leonard Catlett (Nancy) of Hot Springs, Tawan Didecha (Sumonta); Sarun Didecha all of Thailand; daughters Jeanna Collins (Doug) of Hot Springs and Betty Moody (Ronnie) of Blackshear, Georgia; brothers Troy Sheets of Pearcy, Royce Sheets (Erma Jean) of Point Cedar and James Sheets (Linda) of Mt. Pine; 30 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Albert Houpt officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
