Donna Lee Baxter

DONNA LEE BAXTER, 49, of Little Rock passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2011. She was born Jan. 11, 1962 in Little Rock to the late Harry James and JoAnn Hodkin Baxter. Donna graduated from Hendrix College with a degree in psychology in 1984 and was a member of Phi Delta Chi and Rho Chi. She later attended and graduated from UAMS College of Pharmacy and performed her residency at Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She was employed for several years as a Doctor of Pharmacy at UAMS. Donna enjoyed camping and backpacking, she also had a great admiration for all animals. Donna was very active in her church and performed voluntary mission work in Honduras. Donna was also preceded in death by a brother, Mark Baxter. Survivors include a brother, Jack Baxter, of Little Rock; a sister, Pat Baxter Petralia and husband Ben of Philadelphia, Pa.; her Great Dane Tinkerbell and friends. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. Jason Sharbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
