Geraldine "Jerrie" Taylor, 80, left to walk with the Lord on December 8, 2011 at Arkansas Hospice Care in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Houston, Texas on January 3, 1931 to Francis Fite Smith and Ralph Hargrave. She met her perfect match and married Mr. Patrick Allen Taylor on December 31, 1948 in Wetherford, Texas. They were married 53 wonderful years before his death in 2002. They had a rewarding life together traveling the world and making a family. They settled down in Pindall, Arkansas in 1967. Jerrie was an excellent poet, an eccentric artist, and avid craft maker throughout her entire life. She is survived by her five children: Timothy Taylor of Harrison, Ark.; Terry Taylor and wife Monique of Lafayette, LA; Eileen Kelley and husband David of Fayetteville, Ark.; Janna Willis of Pindall, Ark.; and Thomas Taylor and wife Rebekah of Pindall, Ark. She was the happy grandmother of 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren: Jeffrey, Carrie, Samantha and friend Ben, Michael, Jackie and husband Matthew, Jessica and husband Drew, Jena and husband Chris, Danielle and husband A.J., Simone, Jillayne, Zachary, Devan, and Lauren. Her beautiful great grandchildren brought amazing joy to her life: Dylan, Rusty, Chance, Brayden, Valerie, Julie, and baby Isaiah on the way. She is also survived by her sister Marian Howell and her family of Burleson, Texas and her sister Virginia Ruth and husband Louis York and family of Mexia, Texas. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jill Antonia and husband Ellis Ronshaugen of Portland, Ore. and her brother-in-law, John Michael and wife Janice Taylor of Shreveport, La. She is preceded in death by her mother, Francis Fite Smith and fathers Ralph Hargrave and Elijah Smith, her loving husband, Patrick Taylor, her brother-in-law, Bruce Taylor, her son-in-law, John Willis, and her daughter-in-law, Pam Taylor. Jerrie was a strong-willed person with ambition and courage; she always opened her door for any family or friends in need and will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 10 at the St. Joe Church of Christ. Arrangements by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Cremation. Geraldine H. Taylor, age 80 of Pindall, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
