Patricia Ann Williams Sherrill, 78, of North Little Rock, was born December 26, 1932 in Pittsburg, Texas to James and Sue Williams. She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved her children and made following the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren into an art form. She was an outstanding kindergarten teacher who touched the lives of young students with her sweet spirit and tender heart. She was gifted artistically, enjoyed drawing and crafts and had a unique affinity for mice. She enjoyed traveling with friends in her retirement years. She was a faithful member of the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ for over 40 years where she served with her husband and family. She also enjoyed working with close friends in the Dorcas House ministry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Caldwell Sherrill and son Randall Williams Sherrill. She is survived by two sons, Scott Caldwell Sherrill and wife Jamie of England, Arkansas and Philip Eugene Sherrill and wife Christy of Sherwood, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, Deresa Sherrill of Sherwood, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Amber Sherrill, Jarred Sherrill and wife Amanda, Jennifer Smith and husband, Joel, Taylor Sherrill, Dylan Sherrill, Kimbre Dickey and five great-grandchildren, James, David and Alexander Sherrill, Sloan Smith and Dayton Tinnon; one brother, James Williams of Birmingham, Alabama, brother-in-law, Leslie Sherrill and wife Mary of Nashville, Tennessee, sister-in-law, Athalie Thurmon of Nashville, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Relatives and friends shared together in visitation on Thursday, December 22, 2011. A family graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock.
