Fred Ann "Button" Jackson

Fred Ann "Button" Jackson, age 63, resident of Traskwood, passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011. She was born May 16, 1948 in Traskwood to the late Fred Dudley Jackson, and Minnie Jane Stuckey Jackson. Button was a graduate of Glen Rose High School and a retired nurse. She was also a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, where she played the piano every Sunday. Including her parents, she is preceded in death by three sons, Kevin, Darren, and Paul McCutcheon; one sister, Mary Smart and one nephew, Steve Weir. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Brandie and Blas Maldonado; father-in-law, Marvin Tull; daughter-in-law, Donna McCutcheon; three step-children and their children; three grandchildren, Antonio Maldonado, Blake McCutcheon, and Leslie Saddler; one great-grandchild; one daughter and two granddaughters of her heart, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, 11 a.m., at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Traskwood, with Brother James Floyd officiating. Burial will be private.
