Johnnie M. Porter

Johnnie M. Porter, 89, passed away Feb. 17, 2011, in Fort Smith. He was retired from Weldon, Williams and Lick, was a captain in the U.S. Army serving in the Korean conflict and WWII. He devoted his life to the love of horses, and was a member of the Palamino Horseman Hall of Fame and judged various horse shows all across the country. Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home.
