Donald Jarrard Calfee

Donald J. Calfee, age 82, of Bryant, Arkansas went home to his Heavenly Father Thursday, February 24, 2011. He was a retired Chemical Plant Safety Superintendent, a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church and veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ella Mae Calfee; one daughter, Judy Simmons of North Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Margaret Reed and Dolly Cox both of Valley Mills, Texas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents John Monroe Calfee and Ruby Lee Jarrard. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark. (501) 455-1067 with Brother Tom Williams officiating. A visitation will be on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
