Dan Henry Smith

Dan Henry Smith, 80, of Hazen, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a former truck driver. Dan Henry is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; three sons, Dan Gordon Smith (Colleen) of Michigan, Shawn Smith (Becky) of Prescott, Ark., Tyler Smith of Hazen; five daughters, Ann Lijoi (Tony), Darlene Barrett (David), and Dawn Marshall all of Michigan, Danna Williamson (Michael) of California, and Deanna Melcher (Anthony) of Carlisle, Ark.; 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dan Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Verne and Anna Mae Eddins Smith; two sisters, Daphene Kent and Anna Ruth Huddleston and two daughters, Marion Erickson and Faye Nash. Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 11 a.m.., Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the First Baptist Church in Hazen.
