Oscar A. Rohlman

Deacon Oscar A. Rohlman, 80, of Morrilton, Ark., passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at home surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 2, 1930, a son of Joseph W. and Mary Linneman Rohlman. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart School, served in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Korean War, was a life-long member of Sacred Heart Church, and a Deacon of 30 years, member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rose "Rodie" Marie Briggler Rohlman; children, Mary Rose Rohlman of Dungannon, Va., Edwin Rohlman (Lisa), Paul Rohlman (Mary Margaret), Katie Simpson (Ron), Andy Rohlman (Jessica), and Joe Rohlman (Brianne) all of Morrilton, Beth DeSalvo (Phillip) of Center Ridge, Joanne Sokolsky (John) and Teresa Clark (Shawn) both of Rogers; 19 grandchildren. Family visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, from 6-7 p.m. with a Rosary following at 7, at Sacred Heart Church. Funeral Mass will be Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Sacred Heart Church with Father Charles Thessing officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
