JUNE W. BEARD, 78, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011. She was born on Nov. 18, 1932 in Hot Springs, Ark., to the late A. G. and Eda Wright. She lived in Pine Bluff and later Little Rock. She was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was a breast cancer survivor. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, James A. Wright, David H. Wright, and Billy C. Wright. June never stopped living life. The life she chose was being a mother, a grandmother and a friend. She found her greatest joy in finding ways to help those she loved. She was active with the preschool children at the Arkansas School for the Deaf. She enjoyed caring for a special resident at a local nursing home. She was the sparkle of many lives and often recognized and described as a "savior to others" and an "Angel on Earth". If you met her once, you remembered her twice. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Welch (Bud) of Conway, Lynn Brooks (Will) of Little Rock and Carol Sandoval (Ken) of McKinney, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Bobby C. Wright (Carolyn) of Hot Springs; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Wright, Nancy Wright and Sara Wright; Bennie C. Beard, the father of her children; and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Greg Comer officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Pine Bluff.
