Pearl Oliver

PEARL LEE OLIVER, 85 of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on Jan. 5, 2011 at Baptist Health System in Little Rock, she was born on Sept. 24, 1925 in Blue Mountain, Ark.; she was the daughter of Cecil McGugan Sr. and Wynona Sloan. Pearl was a retired assistant buyer for Dillard's, where she worked for over 20 years, she was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and the Tele-bible class, and she loved to read. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kermit R. Oliver; granddaughter April Oliver; and a brother Cecil Oliver Jr. Survivors include a daughter Kim Jones of Little Rock; sons Philip Oliver and wife Betty of Benton; and James Bruce Oliver and wife Joan of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren Jamie Jones, Dustin Jones, Jason Oliver, Faith Oliver, Nathan Oliver, Kimberly Oliver and Heather; and one great-grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock with Dr. Gary Hollingsworth officiating.
