Milton Ray Hall

Milton Ray Hall, 71, passed away at Plano Specialty Hospital in Plano, Texas on January 10th, 2011 from complications after a fall at his home on November 4th, 2010. Milton was born March 24th, 1939 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and graduated from the University of Arkansas with an Electrical Engineering degree in 1961. He interviewed with Western Electric, while still in college and started working on Antiballistic Missile projects soon after graduation. During his 16 years with Western Electric his work gave him and his family an opportunity to see many parts of the country including White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, El Paso, Texas, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Langdon, North Dakota and on two occasions worked on the remote south Pacific island of Kwajalein Marshall Islands. He left Western Electric and relocated to the Dallas area and became a very successful commodity broker, along with owning an oil well drilling company. During this time he partnered with his long time friend William "Bill" Collins, in many other endeavors. Milton was preceded in death by his son John Milton Hall; his parents Buford and Ellen Hall and his brother Buford Charles Hall. Survivors are his wife Sherry Lynn Miller Hall; daughter: Marylynne and his son-in-law Dr. Mark Rosenbloom M.D. of Glencoe, Illinois; sister: Lois June Blanton of San Antonio, Texas and family; brother-in-law John Emil Miller and his wife Teri of Mesquite, Texas; mother-in-law: Mary G. Brown of Garland, Texas and daughter-in-law, Dr. Linda Sundbye of Westminster, Colorado; his niece, Karla Miller Witry and her husband Ben Witry of Dallas, Texas; niece Tedi Hall Krammer and family of Fort Worth, Texas; nephew: Bruce Hall of Stuttgart, Arkansas and other nieces and nephew; two granddaughters: Haylee Rose Alexandria Santos of Glencoe, Illinois and Kyra A. Hall of Woodinville, Washington along with a grandson, Connor Robertson of Westminster, Colorado. Milton will be sorely missed by his best friend and business partner of 40 plus years, William L. Collins of North Charleston, South Carolina and his loving wife of 51 years, Sherry Lynn Miller Hall. Services will be held at Roller England Funeral Home, England, Arkansas (501) 842-3939 on January 14th, 2011 at 2 p.m. with the burial following at Hamilton Cemetery, Humnoke, Arkansas.
