Harley Gladen Fryar

Harley Gladen Fryar, 69 of McGehee, Ark, passed away Thursday January 13, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a 33rd degree Master Mason, life member of Desha Lodge 643, a past worshipful master and held the office of Grand Tyler of the Arkansas Grand Lodge former councilman for McGehee, a member of Eastern Star and past Royal Patron in Amaranth. He also taught Hunters Ed at the UAM College of Technology in McGehee, a bail bondsman, and president of the McArthur Cemetery. Mr. Fryar is preceded in death by his parents; Lonnie Gladen Fryar and Lummie Lue Morman, three brothers; Charlie Fryar, Roy Fryar, and Troy Fryar. He is survived by his wife; Lena Henley Fryar, three sisters; Charline Blevins, Merry Simpson, and Susie Purdy all of McGehee, Ark. and seven nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at Griffin Funeral Service Chapel 2 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2011 with Rev. Coyce Couch officiating. Burial will follow at McArthur Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday January 15, 2011 at Griffin Funeral Service from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the McArthur Cemetery Association and the Shriner's Hospital. Pallbearers are Paul James Tyrone, Jay Hardin, Jordan Robinson, Dr. Robert Scott, Charles Sydney Gibson, David Earl McNeely, Steve Sandidge, and Troy Meaux.
