Leona May Lucy Bailey

Leona Lucy Bailey, 89, died January 13, 2011. She was born May 31, 1921, in Little Rock, Ark. to Charles Walter Peterson and Stella Jane Logsdon. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer L. Bailey and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Bailey Files (Alton) of Madison, Miss.; grandson John Redam (Holly) and two great-children, all of Little Rock, Ark.; sister-in-law Roxie Peterson of Little Rock, Ark.; a special son, Stanley Gordon Jr., of Vilonia, Ark.; her son, Richard Knox Lucy, of Little Rock, Ark., along with many nieces and nephews across the country. She was a member of Little Rock's Calvary Baptist Church for more than 60 years, attending and serving in the Faith Class. Memorials can be made to Calvary Baptist Church along with the Pulaski County Humane Society. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2011 in the Chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home. The family will greet friends after the service at the funeral home.
