Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Graham

Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Graham, 88 years old, of Mount Ida, Ark., passed away January 14, 2011 in Hot Springs, Ark. He was born to the late Oscar and Lela Brown Graham on January 16, 1922 in Mt. Ida, Ark. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Julia "Doodle" Graham, granddaughter, Laura Suzanne Francis, brother, G.L. Graham, sister, Emogene Smith. Survivors: daughter, Tommye (Gerald) of Benton, Ark., granddaughter, Jennifer Sharma and husband Hari of Parker, Colo., grandson, Josh Francis and wife Jennifer of Fayetteville, Ark., great-grandson, Brody Francis and great-granddaughter, Jillian Francis, both of Fayetteville, Ark., sisters, Margurite McCaslin, Rosalie Roberts, both of Mt. Ida, Ark., Neva Allbritton of Pine Bluff, Ark., sister-in-law, Nell Graham of Little Rock, and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was owner and operator and butcher of Hap's General Store until retirement in 1986. Memorial can be made to the Montgomery County Nursing Home in Mount Ida, Ark. Visitation will be Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, Ark. Services will be Monday, January 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. First Baptist Church in Mount Ida with Bro. John Guerra officiating burial will be in the Mount Ida Cemetery under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home. There will be a Military Service at the Cemetery.
