Sarah Louise Hattlestad

SARAH LOUISE HATTLESTAD, 94, a long-time resident of North Little Rock and the widow of Maynard J. Hattlestad died on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011. She was born Sarah Louise Peeples on Feb. 1, 1916 in Paducah, Ky., and moved to North Little Rock at a very early age. She attended public schools in North Little Rock and attended Faith Baptist Church. She was employed in secretarial and accounting positions with Myer Brothers Drug, Gibson's Discount Stores and the North Little Rock School system. Mrs. Hattlestad is survived by a great-nephew, Todd Harrison Rider of Littleton, Mass., and his wife Lori and their two children, Benjamin and Sarah (named in honor of Aunt Louise). A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday at Edgewood Memorial Park.
