Doyce Ford

Doyce L. Ford, 73, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 17th, 2011 in Bryant. He was born September 1st, 1937 in Bee Branch, Arkansas to John and Eva Banning Ford. He was retired from Baptist Health and the United States Army National Guard. Doyce was a member of Amazing Grace Assembly of God Church of Maumelle. He will be missed by many, and remembered as a loving husband, father, and Papaw. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Ford. Cherishing his memory are his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Myers Ford; son Timothy Ford (Laura) of Cabot, Arkansas; daughter, Tabitha Moya (Leonardo) of Little Rock; two sisters, Joyce Birman of Jacksonville, and Mavis Griggs of Sherwood; three grandchildren; and a host of many friends and relatives. A celebration of Doyce's life will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 20th, 2011 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515.
