Johnnie Lee Cloird

Johnnie Lee Cloird, 70, of North Little Rock, Ark. passed away on January 14, 2011. Johnnie valued his family and had a special relationship with each member. He was strong, dependable, hard working, and very caring. Johnnie was a business owner for over 20 years. He retired from Harvest Foods after more than 20 years of employment and gave 11 years of service to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. He's preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Sr. and Margaret Cloird; and two brothers, Monroe Walton and Ralph Cloird Jr. His loving survivors include wife of 46 years, Doris J. Cloird; two sons, Stanley (Lorita) Cloird and Johnny Cloird both of Little Rock; three daughters, Charlotte Gaddy of North Little Rock, Karen Ware of Dallas, Texas and Jeanine Cloird of North Little Rock; two grandsons, Mahlon Ware II of Dallas, TX and "grandbaby" Tsiyon Dotson of North Little Rock; five granddaughters, Shanielle Cloird, Alecia Cloird, Brittany Cloird, Katrina Cloird all of Little Rock and Le'Bria Ware of Dallas, Texas; one great-grandson, Bracy Cloird of Little Rock; two extended daughters, Keitra Jones and Tameka Jones both of Little Rock; five sisters, Pearl Berry of NLR, Aristine McDonnell of Tucker, Willie Lee Byus of Brooklyn, N.Y., Elegest Dedner and Margaret Brown both of Tucker; five brothers, Joe Andrew Clark of Pine Bluff, Freddie Cloird of Sparks, Nev., Arthur Cloird of Little Rock, James Cloird of Tucker and Michael Cloird of Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Home going services will be Saturday, January 22, 2011, 12 noon, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church #3, 3801 Springer Blvd, Little Rock, Ark.
