Dorothy Fortner

Dorothy Fortner, age 89, of Sherwood passed away on January 19th, 2011 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Fortner; one daughter Dodie Roberson and son-in-law Bob Rankin; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sons, Robert J. Fortner of North Little Rock, Ark. and William V. Fortner Jr. of Sherwood, Ark.; daughter Sherry Rankin of Sherwood, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She retired from the North Little Rock School district and after retirement embarked on a new career in the antique business. She had several successful antique shops and remained part owner of Crystal Hill mall until her death.
