Wilson Furr

Wilson C. Furr Sr. of Little Rock, was born on September 2, 1914 to Azzie and Grover Furr, and passed away January 17, 2011 at the age of 96. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lola of 68 years, three daughters, Wanda Wade, Patsy Foote, Shirley Furr, two brothers, and four sisters. He is survived by his son, Wilson Furr Jr., daughter-in-law, Frances, sister, Bertha Taylor; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Madison Healthcare and Odyssey Hospice for all the care he was given. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2011 at Orion Cemetery near Grant County.
